IN-PERSON SUPPORT GROUPS

NEW YORK CITY WOMEN’S MIND/BODY IN- PERSON INFERTILITY SUPPORT GROUPS
Connect with other women who are going through similar journeys and experience Mind/Body techniques that increase resilience, optimism and a sense of wellness. Discover the power and benefits of mutual support. We offer two groups to meet varied needs of our members.

Those who are planning or have completed at least one IVF cycle meet Tuesdays from 6:10 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Women who are in the early stages of fertility treatment or who are in the process of evaluation meet Thursdays - Time TBD. Both groups meet near Union Square

NEW YORK CITY WOMEN’S IN-PERSON OVER FORTY SUPPORT GROUP
Do you feel alone? Are you stuck in feeling anxious or depressed? Does the majority of your life focus on starting a family? Are you confused or unsure about what your next step will be? This Support Group will help you with these issues and move toward resolution of your fertility struggle.

The group meets Mondays, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and is facilitated by Joan Winograd, LCSW, American Fertility Association Support Group Leader. Space is Limited, so if you’re interested contact Joan at 212-362-4003 or e-mail her at Joanwino@aol.com

WEST COAST SUPPORT GROUPS
Learn more about egg donation while working with a third party, choosing single parents, or creating a successful surrogate arrangement. Also learn how to deal with issues related to gay and lesbian parenting.

Four seminars are being offered in Orange County and Los Angeles for one $30 per person or $40 per couple. There is limited space. The groups meet between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

CHAT SERIES

Why should I chat?

The American Fertility Association invites you to spend quality time with experts in the fields of reproductive health and family building. Every week on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 8-9 p.m. Eastern (5-6 p.m. Pacific), you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions of leading physicians, nurses, therapists and others from the privacy of your own home or office. This summer we’ll be adding an audio element to our chats in which you’ll be able to hear our guest experts respond to your typed questions.
